Our Story
Established in 1993, Guixens Food Group, Inc. engages in the importation and distribution of ethnic food products from around the world. It does so with its own sales groups, warehouses and fleet of vehicles. The entity is wholly owned by the Guixens Family.
Miami
This location opened its doors in December 1993, under the leadership of the team comprising Juan J. Guixens Sr. and his sons, Juan Jr. Guixens and Manny Guixens. Today, Christina Guixens-Maury has assumed the crucial role of managing all financial affairs for Guixens Food Group, driving our strategy and fiscal oversight.
As Guixens Food Group looks toward the future, we take immense pride in seeing the next generation step into pivotal roles, continuing our family’s legacy of excellence.
Tampa
Opened in 1997, this location services several areas across Florida, from Tampa south to Naples, east to Melbourne and Orlando, and north toward Jacksonville. The Tampa warehouse has its own sales team, warehouse operators, and delivery system.
Atlanta — Hispano-Caribe
From this location we service the greater Atlanta area and surrounding regions. This business was created as a joint venture between the Guixens and Umana families and has its own sales team, warehouse personnel, and delivery team.
NY/NJ — United Food Brands
This entity brought together the Badia, Guixens, and Vasinee families, combining more than 50 years of experience in distribution. Since beginning operations in 2013, UFB has added over 1,400 retail customers across eight states.
